HTC U Ultra receiving OTA updates with July security patches in US

HTC has rolled out OTA update for its unlocked device HTC U Ultra unlocked with July security patches in US. The update brings the build no 1.64.617.2, which is totally based on Android 7.0 (Nougat).

After updating the device, the update will take care of mobile security concern, various security vulnerabilities and fixes to existing bugs. It will also improve the system performance and increase the device stability.

It is advised to you, connect your device from a WiFi network, before update. Make sure that your system battery should be charged at least 50%.

The update comes with over-the air (OTA), so it may take time to hit the device, but if you are eager to download it then heading to- Setting > About device> System update.
