A Spanish consumer electronics and software development company BQ has announced a new smartphone namely BQ-5504 Strike Selfie Max. This device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. BQ is a less know company across the world, which launched first smartphone runs on Ubuntu OS, version of Linux distro.
As far the specifications concerns, As it name derives, it comes with a big camera department. BQ-5504 Strike Selfie Max comes with a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and a 13MP front camera. The camera department is featured with “Super Pixels” function, which means to enlarge the pics up to 16 times without losing quality.
Other specifications includes, a 5.5″ IPS HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display, powered by a 1.3GHz 4-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. It packs 3GB of RAM and 16GB ROM, while the device storage can be expand further up to 128GB via micro SD card.
BQ-5504 Strike Selfie Max packs a 3,000mAh battery and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. On the connectivity features, it comes with 4G LTE, WiFi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, dual SIM, GPS and FM Radio. The dimensions of the phone measures 155 x 76.8 x 8.9 mm and weight 171 grams.
Initially the BQ-5504 Strike Selfie Max will be available in metal case of Gold color with horizontal stripes. Later the company will release another variant in Dark Gray color options at the price tag of 9,990 Rubles.
