But now this time Asus took a step ahead toward a new rugged Chromebook known “Flip C213”, which comes with a 360-degree flippable display. As the name itself explain that the Chromebook runs on the Chrome operating system.
Chromebook Flip C213 comes with a durable and versatile design which carry a rubber bumper that protects the chassis and reinforces I/O ports from minor knocks and scrapes. Also, it comes with a modular construction that enables the IT staff to replace key components like keyboard, touch-pad, battery, motherboard or display panel in a few simple steps, using a minimum number of tools. The company says that new Chromebook Flip C213 has been rigorously tested to pass military-grade durability tests, ensuring that it can easily withstand the physical stresses of use in education environments.
The drop test also done by dropping it from 1.2 meters and subjecting it’s all-metal 360-degree hinge to 40,000 open-and-close cycles.
Chromebook Flip C213 sports an 11.6-nch touch display and divided into two variants-one is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass protection and support an optional stylus which incorporates Wacom EMR technology, while the other variant features an anti-glare finish, which is easy to view in both indoor and outdoor lighting conditions. On the camera front, it features a 5MP rear camera for high-resolution photos and videos, and an HD front camera for video calls. There is a 46Wh battery, which the company claims delivers up to 12 hours of continuous use.Through the 360 degrees flippable display, users can use it in different modes including laptop, tent, stand and tablet. It also features with G Suite and cloud services as Google Classroom and Google Cloud Platform.
