Unable to upload photos to Google photos? Here is how to fix it.

Google Photos Backup and Sync: If for any reason, you are having trouble in uploading photos to Google Photos, we are about to tell you the way out.

The Google Photos app is pre-installed on almost all Android devices. It creates an online backup of your photos and also provides editing features. Recently announced features for Google Photos (Shared Library, Suggested Sharing) are now live on Google Photos app.

So here are some solutions for any of issues you are facing while trying to upload your photos on Google Photos.

  1. Turn backup and sync on.
  2. Open the Google Photos app.
  3. Sign in with the desired account.
  4. Tap the icon at the top left corner to open the navigation drawer.
  5. Tap Settings and then tap Backup and Sync.
  6. Turn it on (toggle should turn blue).

Note: Turning on Backup and Sync only sync the camera folder. If you wish to sync other folders, follow the steps mentioned below.

  • Turning on backup and sync for other folders.
  1. Open the Google Photos app.
  2. Sign in with the desired account.
  3. Tap the icon at the top left corner to open the navigation drawer.
  4. Tap on Device folders.
  5. Tap the desired folder that you want to backup and sync.
